(1)  This song was originally recorded in 1975, in Miami, Florida.  Musicians, engineers, and singers wore:

 

    (a) platform shoes 6" to 12" in height - some personnel were over 7 feet tall

    (b) disco shirts unbuttoned to the navel, many with 8" collars

    (c) multi colored psychedelic bell bottom pants

    (d) enormous Afro hairdos, Afro wigs, and Shag haircuts

    (e) large "peace symbol" medallions, solid gold coke spoons, and pop-open rings which held 1 gram of coke  

(2) *  The background singer who screams "wooooo" and "HEY!" received:

    (a) 9 Grammy Awards for singing his parts

    (b) $947,722.57 in recording royalties

    (c) $716,822.35 in performance payments

    (d) the Official James Brown "Short Scream" Award 

Undisclosed royalties were paid to James Brown, as "HEY!" is a verified, copyrighted James Brown lyric, property of James Brown Entertainment, Inc. since early 1963. 

(3)  The unidentified musical instrument used in this song exploded inside its shipping case in February, 1976.  The cause was never determined.   

(4)  The unknown singing language utilized late in the song remains officially unidentified to this date.
